While the majority have positive experiences, some customers have noted inconsistencies with breakfast pricing and quality. A few reviews mention that breakfast items don't quite meet expectations concerning value for money, leading to disappointment during peak hours. There’s occasional feedback about order accuracy, especially regarding extras that appear on the bill.
Additionally, during busy times, some diners report longer wait times for their meals. Although the service is generally quick, a few instances of food being served cooler than expected have popped up, which detracts from the usual standards The Chippy aims for.
Great customer services but breakfast was just okay doesn’t justify the price though and changed me extra from what it says in MANU.
The best fish&chips in town great service everything is fresh highly recommend 5 star ⭐️
Well halfa fish supper here for my son's birthday having been to the cinema beforehand. The staff were accommodating to us setting up the birthday party in the dining area and bringing in a birthday cake. The food was great. The chips were crispy and the fish tasty. I liked the batter very much. There was also a choice of cod haddock or plaice
I've had take away fish and chips from here a few times now, always fresh, perfectly cooked fish with a light, crisp batter. Good size portions too. Staff are friendly and efficient and the shop is spotlessly clean and bright. The restaurant looks equally inviting. Definitely worth trying if you've not already done so. I must mention since the new owner taken over this shop. The food and customer service is top ten.
Just the job about to drive to Dorset Just needed to refuel my body after a hard week at work..
Very friendly local chippy. You can sit in or take-away. The entrance is easy to get a wheelchair in and some wheelchair users will be able to get round the toilets. Probably not the means. I've showed the ladies. There are lots of food options and the man spices up his chicken skin before frying it. The chips were nice and crisp and the burger kids meals is adequate with a drink. Paid aboht £15 for two kids meals and half a chicken for myself. Friendly and nice service. I hope he goes on to do some dishes from Afghanistan at some point too. Clean shop. Loos not so much. But it's definitely a place to go if you need cheap food and have low mobility.
Great place for fish and chips, plus it has a few tables in the back for sitting in. Meals are always freshly cooked and serviced at your table. Staff are always very friendly and polite and meals are good sized portions. I will definitely visit again.
